Hello! I'm Lisa Spaniak, a 22-year-old recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame in 2023. As the former president of my a cappella group during my four years at college, I've developed a deep passion for music, business, and the power of community.

My journey with music started from a young age, and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. Majoring in marketing allowed me to combine my passion for music with my love for business, enabling me to explore innovative ways to promote and elevate our a cappella group.

My journey in a cappella wasn't a straightforward one. I faced rejection in my first audition, a setback that could have discouraged me. However, I didn't give up. I auditioned again and earned my place in the group. This experience transformed a cappella into the central part of my college experience and taught me the value of perseverance and learning from mistakes.

During my tenure as the president, I took on responsibilities that honed my leadership skills. I excelled in delegating tasks, empowering team members to bring out their best. Creating a group handbook and advising underclassmen provided a smoother transition for the coming years, fostering a supportive and thriving environment.

Through our first annual fundraiser, we raised an impressive $6000, exceeding our goal by 400%, thanks to the dedication and collaboration of the entire group. These funds allowed us to invest in a set of microphones that would benefit the group for years to come, representing a milestone in our journey together.

One of my proudest achievements was forming a process that revamped our group's social media and branding strategy, leading to a significant increase in engagement on all platforms. This not only expanded our audience but also brought us closer as a community.

In high school, I aspired to pursue a career in music professionally. My experiences in college, including the challenges and the successes, shaped my path. I am incredibly grateful to every member of my a cappella group and everyone I've had the honor to collaborate with over my four years. Their dedication, talent, and support were essential in achieving our collective goals.

As the owner of this consultancy, I am committed to empowering college a cappella groups to reach their fullest potential.
